Kimberly Yoshinaga
Physical Therapist Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Kimberly Yoshinaga earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Health with a Physical Therapy Emphasis from Azusa Pacific University. As an undergraduate, she participated in a six-week medical mission to the Dominican Republic and Haiti, where she worked alongside a team of students, local physicians, and nurses to provide free medical care through mobile clinics, home visits, and hospital and orphanage outreach. This experience sparked her passion for serving underserved communities. She later volunteered at the Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles, offering pro bono physical therapy services as a student clinician.
Dr. Yoshinaga received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s University (MSMU) in Los Angeles in 2016. While at MSMU, she participated in research focused on gait and balance training for children with chronic stroke. She joined Precision in 2016 and currently serves as Director of Rehabilitation and Site Coordinator of Clinical Education for Doctor of Physical Therapy students.
In addition to her clinical role, Dr. Yoshinaga is a part-time faculty member at MSMU, where she provides clinical mentorship in the neurologic physical therapy department. She has also served as a mentor for neuro physical therapy residents and as a clinical instructor for DPT students. She has received specialty certification as a Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR!) Moves Instructor and is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), including its Neurology Section.
Dr. Yoshinaga has experience in neurological rehabilitation, musculoskeletal and orthopedic disorders, vestibular rehabilitation, acute care, pediatrics, and chronic pain. At Precision, she treats a broad range of neurologic and orthopedic conditions. When not at Precision, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and cheering on her favorite teams—the Dodgers, Eagles, and Lakers.
