Alyssa Gutierrez
Physical Therapist Doctor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Alyssa Gutierrez completed her undergraduate degree at California State University, Long Beach, graduating with a B.S. in Kinesiology with an Option in Exercise Science in 2019. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Southern California in 2023. While at USC, Alyssa participated in Parkinson’s research, volunteered with USC’s Fit Families program and The Movement Network’s pro-bono clinics, and tutored DPTI and DPTII students in neuroanatomy and in the management of orthopedic diagnoses.
Alyssa has experience treating the orthopedic, athletic, neurologic, pediatric, and geriatric populations and has spent time working in acute care and in outpatient settings. However, it wasn’t until her terminal clinical rotation at Precision Rehabilitation that she found her passion for neurologic physical therapy. Since graduating, Alyssa has been treating both orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses at Precision, helping individuals maximize their function and promoting independence. She became a Certified Clinical Instructor at the start of the year and is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA).
When not at Precision, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her friends and family and loves to travel both across the continental US and internationally. She also enjoys staying active and loves to participate in a variety of activities, including strength training, running, hiking, Pilates, and yoga.
