Christy Malonzo, MPT, ATP

Ms. Malonzo graduated from California State University Fresno with a master's degree in Physical Therapy. After graduation she worked in neurological rehabilitation at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center (LBMMC), specializing in spinal cord injury, stroke rehabilitation, multiple sclerosis and amputees. She has undergone extensive training in wheelchair seating/positioning and is a certified Assistive Technology Practitioner (ATP) through RESNA. Ms. Malonzo has also completed her certification in NDT (Neuro-Developmental Technique) and is a part-time lecturer at California State University , Long Beach in the Physical Therapy program. Ms. Malonzo is an active member in the American Physical Therapy Association and is a certified ski instructor through Professional Ski Instructors of America, providing instructions for adaptive skiing.
